We’re all just people in places, and therein lies a story.

My introduction to photography was through a photojournalistic lens, falling in love with the idea of telling a story in a single frame.

I’ve married that photojournalist upbringing with my love for conceptual editorial portraits.

Living at the crossroads where reality starts turning into surreality.

A shoot with me is a very natural conversation between me and my subject, allowing for moments of story to be told and captured. Employing classic composition and lighting techniques, I turn any location into a visually interesting backdrop. Ideally preferring a more “real” setting over something clean and polished.

To me, it’s all about the relationship between the person and the place.

Highlighting the relationship between the two inherently allows a narrative to form—the story of that person, in that place, at that time.

So, if you are in need of imagery that conveys a story, I’d be honored to help tell yours.
